hello..this week i getting married but because it was taken a long time before the amphur give the ok i have only 14 days left on my visa and as far i know i must have left 21 days for asking the married visa.
i use now first a 60 days visa and a 30 days.
I read somewhere that i can make a new visa for 60 days for visit family after married..is this true and when yes how is this visa called?or must i do a border bounce first and then ask for my married visa for stay?
All my papers already done so that is not the problem.
Can somebody help me out with this?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about visa options after getting married in Thailand, specifically regarding the limited time left on their current visa and the requirements for applying for a marriage visa. Comments suggest options such as obtaining a 60-day family visit visa immediately after marriage, ensuring the necessary financial requirements are met for a NON-O visa based on marriage, and alternative routes for securing a NON-O visa at a Thai embassy in neighboring countries.

Easiest is just to get married, as long you still have time left on your current stamp. I assume that is a tourist visa? Then when that is close to running out, and you are already married, go get the 60 day "visit family" extension at immigration, to have have enough days left on that to apply for an in country non o based on marriage. Another option, that some have to use because their local immigration will/can not issue the initial non o visa, is to make an appointment at the thai embassy in Vientiane, Laos, and go get the initial 90 day non o there. Or start in Savanakhet Laos with a year multi entry non o based on marriage.
However you can/choose to get the initial non o, it sounds like you already have your ducks in a row to apply for the one year extension at thai immigration after.
Once you are officially married you can get a 60 day extension based on visiting Thai family which should give you plenty time to apply for the initial 90 day Non-O visa
I have a O marriage visa which is renewed annually for a 1 year term and then requires reporting every 90 days. In Samut Prakan Immigration requires 400k thb balance for 3 months prior to renewal.
to follow up with what John said, the reason you don't want to rush is that you'll be changing the reason for your stay so you'll lose any days you have left. They will not add the 60 days onto the end of your current stay.
Be fully aware that the basic requirement for a type O visa extension based on Thai wife is have at least bt400,000 in a Thai bank account in your name only for at least 2 months before you can apply. Do you have this already?
All the papers and the bankaccount already done ...because i had to wait a long time at the amphur inChiang mai i running out of time from my visa so that is why i ask what to do the best now and what is possible..can i make another visa for 60 days or must i do a border bounce so i have enough days for arrange the married visa
Try for the marriage visa/extension and if there is not enough time left on your current stamp then get the 60 day extension for visiting Thai family to get you the required time
