First off thank you for this group it has been so helpful.

I need to do a Visa extension on my 6mo tourist Visa from the US. that is up March 4th. Do I need to do this as close to the 4th as possible or when I do the extension will it be added at the end if my current visa.

And I know this has been asked a million times. What do I need to provide to do the extension.

Again thank you very much.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 6-month tourist visa, you can apply for an Extension of Stay at an immigration office. It's generally recommended to apply between 30 days before your visa expires and the last day of your current visa validity, as the extension will be added to your existing stay. Make sure to check the specific dates on your visa for the best timing. Additionally, gather the necessary documents required for the extension process.

You get an Extension of Stay on your current Admitted to Stay ../../.. date stamped in your passport, Most immigration Offices you can do this between 30 days and the last day mentioned in that stamp. The 30 days Extension of Stay are added to your current stay.
