What should I do if my 60-day tourist visa was not stamped when I entered Thailand?

Hi there.

I recently went to KL on a visa run and got my 60 days tourist visa. When I arrived in Thailand my visa was not stamped ‘Used’ and I only got the 30 days entrance (arrived feb 27 and must leave march 28). I did note 60 days and visa number on the immigration card, but I don’t know if they didn’t see it or I was not allowed to use it?

What can I do? Do I apply for an extension or can immigration help me to use the 60 day visa?

I am flying home on April 22.

I have 2 previous tourist visas from the past 9 months and one extension.

Thank you in advance 🌻

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user mentions having obtained a 60-day tourist visa during a visa run to Kuala Lumpur but notes that upon entry to Thailand, they received only a 30-day stamp instead. They are unsure whether their 60-day visa was not recognized or if they were ineligible to use it. The user is seeking advice on whether they can apply for a visa extension or if immigration can assist them in utilizing their 60-day visa.
