So now they accepted all papers, except they asked me to get a copy of the tax id of the owner of the condo, eventhough i have the contract, the receipt with the owner's tax id, and they said the owner's regular id is not enough. So wtf is the tax id card? She doesnt have such thing as far as i know. Yet it is a big condo. Seems they just need to be f annoying. Im from Germany.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user encountered issues with submitting required documents for a visa (likely the Special Tourist Visa or STV) extension related to their condo rental in Thailand. The immigration office requested a tax ID card from the condo owner, despite having other documentation. Many commenters highlighted the necessity of the tax ID to ensure the condo owner is tax-registered, reflecting broader frustrations about bureaucratic requirements.

She must have a tax ID number in order to pay her taxes. Everyone must have a tax ID to pay taxes, even foreigners. The government is now looking for people not paying their taxes.
