Hi. I was just wanting some kind advice if possible. I have been to Thailand on 60 day visa before but stayed at private address of Thai national. I am coming back again but will be travelling around the country. I am however going to be based at another privately owned address of a uk citizen. With regards to TM30. He isn't a Thai national so doesn't have Thai ID card. Will his passport suffice on the letter of invitation along with ownership papers of the condo ?
Many thanks in advance .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about TM30 filing for their stay at a condo owned by a UK citizen, questioning if the absence of a Thai ID for the owner will affect the process. Responses clarify that a Thai ID is not required for TM30 submissions, and that filing is generally only necessary when seeking immigration services. If not applying for an extension, TM30 filing may not be necessary.
Thai ID isn't and has never been a requirement to file a TM30.
And if you're not going to be applying for an extension at immigration, there's no reason to even worry about filing the TM30 since you only need it when using a service at immigration.
ah. Thanks for that ..However . I may consider applying for 30 day extension . I'm staying at a hotel in Bangkok for the first five days then moving onto my friends condo. So not sure which address to put on application. Sorry for the confusion .
