Hope someone can help! 

I have a friend travelling from Guatemala to Thailand and she read that she could apply for a her visa online rather than in an embassy as Guatemala doesn’t have a Thai embassy. When she went to check in they said that wasn’t the case so now she’s scrambling trying to arrange one in El Salvador but there is no one at the the embassy there either. Does anyone have any experience with travelling from Guatemala or any advice I could give her? She is distraught as she will miss her flight and they were very expensive

The nearest Thai embassy is in Mexico City. Sorry have no idea on policy or processing times there.

I searched for helpful information but found none.

Hopefully others will answer.

She is not 🚫 eligible for Visa Exempt Entry or VOA Visa on Arrival. Must have a Thai tourist visa for Entry into Thailand.
