Hi Guys ! Looking for some experts advise here !

I’m thinking to apply for a Tutistic multi entry visa that should work for 6 month according to the Thai Embasy info in Italy . It should cost 150 euro which I guess is a fair price .

I already book my flight for this

September the 8th.

Now my situation is this :

I came back in Italy from Thailand last June The 4th after I using all the tuoristic exemption visa extensions possibles ( old rules) .

I fly around south east Asia’s counties since October 2023 using pattaya as a base.

As I went a bunch of times In and out Thailand are there any issues in your opinion if I apply on line for this Multi entry 6 month TR ?

Thank you so much in advance to anyone will help!🙏🏻

Answer summary

The user is inquiring about applying for a multi-entry tourist visa (METV) to Thailand after a series of frequent entries and exits. They have already booked a flight for September and seek advice on whether their previous travel history might pose issues for their online application. Comments suggest that while the recent changes to visa exemptions may reduce the need for an METV, having one could enhance their chances of smooth entry and lessen scrutiny.

Should be no issues and the METV will really cut your chances of being stopped by immigration.

With the change of visa exempt to 60 days and technically no limit on number of entries it sort of negates the need for an METV.

That said with an extensive history of entries it may be better to have one than not. A visa isn’t a guarantee of entry but certainly increases your chances of not being stopped and questioned.
