Hi guys! Does anyone has knowledge or experience with using a sponsership letter while applying for the visa? I have family In Thailand who can provide me with such letter.

Also I am in Thailand on a tourist visa right now and if I want to go apply I would want to go to an embassy near. I have Spanish residency but it’s really inconvenient for me to go all the way back there and apply from there. What type of document will they accept to indicate current location?

Summary so far

The user seeks guidance on using a sponsorship letter for a visa application in Thailand, mentioning that they currently hold a tourist visa and have family able to provide the letter. However, they express concern about the application process, particularly regarding needing to travel to an embassy given their Spanish residency. Comments point out that visa applications typically require applicants to leave Thailand and that documentation requirements can vary by embassy.

Documents required depends on what embassy you go to, so check the website. As to indicating your location, since you actually have to go to that embassy in person that's probably a pretty decent indication of your location.

The Spanish Embassy may be able to approve some spanish related documents, that a random embassy will not approve.
