I'm a nz citizen married with thai wife. (Also nz citizen travelling in nz passport because her thai passport has lapsed)
We're travelling to Thailand 12th October until 23 November... which is 42 days
We'll be staying at our own place near phon phisai, nong khai province...
I can enter with visa concession for 30 days... what do I need to do to get full duration visa cover. Given that visa issued by nz based thai Consulate are ridiculously expensive.
Thank you for your advice.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A New Zealand citizen married to a Thai wife is planning a 42-day trip to Thailand. They can enter Thailand with a 30-day visa concession but need to extend their stay. Suggested options include obtaining a 30-day extension for about ฿1900 and ensuring compliance with the TM 30 registration for the stay. It was also mentioned that the Thai wife can still use her expired Thai passport for entry.
