TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen married to a Thai woman seeking to stay in Thailand for three months has several visa options. A single entry Non-O visa can be obtained for £60, allowing a stay of 90 days, which is cheaper than opting for a tourist visa (TR60) plus a 30-day extension. Alternatively, he could enter visa-exempt and apply for a 60-day extension, which also totals 90 days. Another option is to use a tourist visa with a 30-day extension, also resulting in 90 days of stay.

If he's married to a Thai lady he can get 90 days on a single entry Non O for £60 which works out cheaper and more convenient than a TR60 and 1 extension which would cost £30 plus 1,900 ( £45 )

certainly not more convenient, but an option

Less paperwork

@Lloyd *******
so if you think going to an IO is less convenient than submitting a non O application I'm baffled as you don't even have to post your passport anymore from many countries I had mine in less than 2 days
Lloyd ********
or a visa exempt entry and a 60 visiting family extension = 90 days

yes indeed

Either a single entry tourist visa and a 30 day extension = 90 days
