What should I do if my Thai visa application was canceled due to a 'wrong date of issue'?
Hi, my application got cancelled today with the reason “wrong date of issue” I’m assuming they meant the date of issue on my passport, which I checked 10 times over. I can’t even look at my original application as it is “finished” now. Is there anything I can do, or do I just have to reapply ? Same embassy or different one ? TIA
Summary so far
The user reports that their visa application was cancelled because of an issue with the 'date of issue' on their passport. They are unsure if they should reapply at the same embassy or a different one. Comments suggest that they may need to start over with a new application and ensure proper date formatting. Clarification is also provided regarding the nature of the cancellation.

Nothing you can do now, except start over. Are you American? Did you use the correct ordering for dates, not month, day, year?

OPDTV_BegPecker I did date, month, year. It was automatically set up that way when applying

Anonymous participant true - that section has you pull from a calendar. Maybe you entered the wrong info

OPDTV_BegPecker good shout. Do you think it makes a difference if I apply through the same embassy or go through a different one ?

Application longer than 3 months before arrival?

no just over a month before arrivalElías ********
Your visa wasn't canceled, I think your visa application was canceled. If you say your visa was canceled it sounds like, after granted, it was canceled, what reportedly has also happened.

sorry yes, the application was cancelled not the visaElías ********
The only way is to apply and pay again.
