Would appreciate some advice for DTV application in London embassy (remote work):
- applied today after preliminary search indicated visas typically granted in 5 working days (seems very much not the case based on this group which I only discovered after applying)
- due to fly in 11 days
- provided flights, accommodation details, remote work contract, bank statements for last 3 months with my address proving 15k£+ on my account, passport style photo, photo of passport
Would you recommend emailing to provide additional info preemptively (eg copy of drivers license, cover letter saying I don’t intend to fly until visa is granted and don’t intent to do business with Thais etc)? And if so what address is best? The receipt I got is from a no reply address and I can’t upload further docs on the application site
Aware this was unwise timing decision and should’ve checked this page first - but given this is where I am now, advice on best option moving forward appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a DTV visa at the Thai embassy in London and is concerned about the processing time since their flight is in 11 days. They seek advice on whether to provide additional documents preemptively and how to communicate with the embassy, given that they cannot upload further documents and the receipt is from a no-reply address. The comments suggest that the user should wait for a response from the embassy and express regret for not applying earlier.
