What should I do after my Thai visa application was rejected without explanation?
I got a visa rejection email today without any explanation. So now I’m wondering whether I should apply again next week at another embassy or wait six months before trying again. Please let me know if anyone has reapplied soon after being rejected and what their experience was.

for sure. If everything ok with your documents and have money on bank account you can try Philippines. Will be an interview but absolutely you will get visa

Get your bank above 500K. Currency fluctuations by the day can bring you below - also the staff may just think you’re gaming it by having just 500K in it.

I would not try again if your bank account is still under 500k which was likely the reason get rejected.

1. If you were marginal on the 500k, that's not good. Just because you look at today's exchange rate that might not be the rated used by the consulate
2. Did you include a letter from the company you work for stating specifically that you had permission to work remotely from Thailand and that you would not work with any Thai entities or clients inside Thailand?
Was your application cancelled or rejected? The former indicates an issue with your biodata

yes i added recommandation letters and employment contract, cover letter. everything is included.

You need a document from employer clearly stating you are working remotely for them in Thailand. Employment contract and “recommendations” isn’t the same thing dude
Get your boss to write a letter addressed to the embassy stating your role within the company and that they are aware and authorise you to work remotely in Thailand.
That sounds like what your issue is. I was asked for the same in London

OPI’m a software engineer working for a Japanese company. I requested all the documents I needed from my company and even included their company registration, driving license, and contact information. The only thing I can think of is my bank statement, because I edited it to highlight my salary payments.

No mate. Nothing relate with thailand at all. And Rejected with no reason. Just one message , visa has been rejected.

I got rejection today too. I was requested to highlight my income which I don’t have since I have not got my first payment salary yet. So I wrote an explanation letter reflecting as per my employment agreement.
I got all my valid documents
- Bank statements more than 500,000 baht for more than 3 months
- All company related documents
I simply got the email that your visa is rejected with no further reason.
I am also having the same situation whether I should wait for the first payment to get and reapply again in Hanoi or reapply again in other countries :))

Did you upload a certificate of incorporation for the company you work for and a contract showing youre job is a remote job? If not, that's the reason.

Write a cover letter next time explaining why you want to go to Thailand and explain all your financial statements. I did that too and it helped. Translate it into Thai as well. The bank accounts have to be non Thai both show enough money that has been in the account for a period of time. I used chat gpt an sit gave everything.

Were you applying for soft or work? Do you know why you were rejected? If you don't know the reason then you will probably be rejected again.

I recently applied at the Hanoi Embassy and I’m thinking about trying again at the HCMC Embassy. I believe my work documents are more than sufficient. This is my first time applying for a DTV, so sorry if I’m misunderstanding anything.

Yes, you can be rejected if the balance is under 500k. Next time, make sure there is a good amount more than that. What other docs did you include for your Workcation application?

it should be seasoned at least three months and then I would try again. And in this group have a lot of examples of different embassies and their requirements of how many months the 500k must be seasoned BEFORE applying. No make sense to rush until you meet the requirements.Thi **********

OPI think the issue might be my bank statement. Because I didnt get any feedback and just said Visa has been rejected. That sall . My balance is equal with 500,000 baht, but because of the exchange rate, it could be slightly under 500,000 baht. So if I do prepare the bank statement again, it could be ok ?
