What should I do if my visa application was rejected due to a one-day mistake on my passport expiration?
I feel embarrassed and know what the answer is probably going to be... But, I got over-excited and nervous when applying and made a mistake by one day on the expiration of my passport. I was rejected, and was hoping for a miracle that I could somehow correct the mistake. Any advice, or am I out of luck and need to start all over?

You can apply again but you cannot change a rejected application unfortunately.

I suggest you contact the respective embassy and ask them. In my experience some of them are quite helpful. What embassy was it?
