After submitting all required documents and attempting payment through multiple cards, the application shows 'Payment pending.' Last summer mine showed pending For a few days after money showed that it already came out of my account. This was with the Los Angeles office online. It eventually showed payment completed few days later.

Mine showed pending , then I checked again later and it showed complete. May just be a delay in the system?

Had this problem recently (embassy of Vienna, E-visa). The embassy told me that there was an issue with MasterCard's. Used a visa card and payment went through.

have you tried to contact them directly? If it's a problem with payment, it could be consular or country specific. They have contact channels for visa matters.

many people have experienced payment issues at the various thai consulates using the eVisa system. I honestly don't know what causes it.

Maybe someone who has had the problem and resolved it will know

For the LA Consulate on an EVisa Application I used my Debit Card. My Visa credit card was declined many times. Last year K-bank was processing payments and because of the security protocols implemented by the bank that issued the credit card the visa payment transaction kept on being declined. My thoughts are that Thai Banks have different security protocols for credit card transactions than foreign banks. Even some Elite Visa applicants have complained about the same thing.
