Can I submit additional documents after my online visa application is pending?

ORIGINAL POSTER
Just submitted my application online in the US, all it asked for was my employment contract and one bank statement, and identity documents, including proof of living here. I had a bunch of other documents to submit, but there was not an option to submit additional documents online. It now says pending. Is there a way I can submit other documents, or I just need to wait? Just read another post where the person was denied without explanation or a chance to supplement and I don’t want to get denied, without the chance to submit all the extra material I had. Any suggestions?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user submitted their visa application online but was only able to provide a few documents. They are concerned about other necessary documents that they couldn't upload and are seeking advice on how to submit additional materials or if they should wait for a response.

i usualy merge multiple documents into one file, then save that in a file size that is still allowed (i guess 3MB)… but depending on your documents and your individual case you might just be done with 3-4 documents. the DTV application is super easy.

You'll probably have to wait until they respond to you now. To submit multiple documents you should have combined them into a single PDF
