Dears, I would appreciate an advise. I arrived in Thailand with an O-A visa (first time ever) on 16 December. But, I have not done the TM30 declaration (24 hours), as I did not know the process. I live in Magasan, Ratchatawe, Bangkok. What would you advise? Shall I contact the office now? OR shall I wait for the 90 days reporting? PS: I do have the health insurance. Thanks Andre

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster, who arrived in Thailand with an O-A visa, seeks advice on missed TM30 registration within the required 24 hours. Community members suggest contacting the landlord for help with the TM30 registration, informing that fines of 800 THB are applicable for late registration. They recommend filing the TM30 either immediately or at the time of the 90-day report, ensuring it is completed before filing the 90-day report.

They don't care about the health insurance. They WILL care about you not having done a TM30 when you go to file your first 90 day report (which is due 89 days from the date you stamped IN to thailand).

I'd say read this article I wrote on how to "self file" a TM30 on your own then when you go to do your first 90 day report file a TM30 first, (pay the 800baht fine) and then go file your 90 day report.

Your arrival at the address needs to be registered within 24 hours, how long you're going to stay on that address has nothing to do with this.

You are late in reporting, that means you will face the fine of 800 Thb, You can make the report when ever you want, now or wait till the day you visit for the 90 day report. The fine stays the same.

Better to talk to your landlord or condominium management office first.

Here is summarized "How to" TM 30 in Bangkok by Tod.

My wife (owner of our condo) registered me for the TM30 while I was in the next room doing my 90 days. (we got the first queue numbers early morning) 15mins max.

She only had to pay 800฿.

They won't know how long you've lived there. It's just a procedure.
