What should I do if I missed my 90-day reporting date and need to update my address in Thailand?

Looks like I made a mistake. My 90 day reporting date has always been on the 3rd, for some reason on my last check in the date was changed to 27th and I ended up missing my appointment. I also just moved and need to update immigration. Do I now just show up and pay the fine? Not really sure of the best solution.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user missed their 90-day reporting appointment due to a date change and is unsure of the next steps. Comments suggest that they can report up to 15 days early or 7 days late and should bring the TM28 form to update their address. They will likely incur a fine of 2000 baht for the missed appointment, which they can pay when they go to immigration, and it is possible to combine this with their future report or visa extension.

Well, mine always seems to be at the end of the month

Perhaps I'm missing something but how could your 90-day reporting "always" be on the 3rd? It will almost always fall on a different date.

Since I already have a fine can't I just pay it and show up the next three months? I heard others have done it.

actually yes you could. In fact seeing as the fine is 2000baht you could wait until just before you went to get your next years extension of stay, show up, pay the 2000baht fine, do a 90 day report and get your extension if you wanted to

Does that 15 days before and 7 days after rule tie with the none o multiple entry visa based on marriage? Go to maisai and back into Thailand

okay, on a year long, multi-entry Non-O visa you never get stamped in long enough to do a 90 day report. :/

On that visa you need to border bounce on or before the date stamped in your passport or you will be on overstay which is 500baht a day.
Andrew ******
So 500 baht a day over stay after 90 days so that 7 days after rule with none o multiple entry visa based on marriage doesn't count? Got to be before or on the actual day
Tod *********
nope, the window of opportunity to do a 90 day report is totally different from the time you get stamped in on a year-long, multi-entry Non-O.
Steve *******
With that visa you can border bounce anytime during each 90 day entry but you'll be on overstay after 90 days.

If your due date for your 90 day report was the 27th of Nov yesterday was the last day you could have reported and not gotten fined.

Go tomorrow, you will be fined 2000baht for failing to report on time and get a stamp in your passport, but that's about it

You can make the report 15 days early till 7 days late. If you moved to new address print the TM28 form, fill it in and bring it with you when you visit as soon as possible.
