What should I do if I enter Thailand before my DTV visa is approved? Will I be able to re-enter later?

Hi everyone,

what happens if I enter Thailand before my DTV is approved? Would I still be able to re-enter Thailand later with the DTV in about a month or so?

Appreciate any insights or advice! Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Entering Thailand before the approval of your DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) is not recommended. It's advised to stay in the country where you applied for the visa until it is either approved or denied. This is because you may need to provide additional documentation or attend an interview with the Thai Embassy or Consulate. If you leave Thailand, there is a risk of rejection, leading to the loss of application fees.

Why risk being rejected and loose the 10.000+ fee.

Got to stay in the same country as the DTV has been applied for, until the visa is granted.

Stay in the country where you have applied for the DTV visa until it's approved or denied.

It's possible you will be asked to submit additional documents. You also may be asked for an interview with the Thai Embassy or Consulate.
