Once DTV is approved, do we have a certain number of days to enter the country with it or it open ended for the first entry? ie: must enter within first 30 days of approval or something similar.

Also, Canadians, how long did your approval take?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Once the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) is approved, you can enter Thailand anytime within the visa's validity period, which is typically up to five years. It does not have a strict entry deadline like some tourist visas that require entry within a specific timeframe. Users shared their experiences regarding the approval process, with Canadians reporting approval times ranging from three days to one week, often with additional documentation requests.

It took 1 week from Ottawa. They asked for some supporting documents after 4-5 days and then approved shortly after they got them.

You can enter anytime within the validity of the visa ie 5 years. It is not like some tourist visas which have a "Use by" date.
