What should I do if I haven't received a response for my DTV Visa application after 16 days before my flight?

I have applied for my DTV Visa through the Thai Embassy in Brussels. It's been 16 days now and still no reply.

Seeing other posts on here, most applications get a response after one week or less.

My flight is booked for 14th of October. Should I contact the embassy directly to inquire about this? I'm slightly worried they might need additional documents and that will take this long again to process.

The user has applied for a DTV Visa via the Thai Embassy in Brussels and has not received a response after 16 days, which is longer than expected. They are concerned about potential additional document requests that could delay their application further, especially since their flight is booked for October 14th. Other commenters provide insights on typical processing times, noting it can take 4 to 5 weeks, and suggest contacting the embassy for updates.

can I ask you which status is showing for your application on the E-visa Dashboard? I'm waiting for my application in The Hague and it's still showing "Processing Pending Approval"

Brussels Thai embassy website states

weeks for visa. I did my DTV visa there and got it after exactly 1 month. This is normal. You should get it just before your flight.

I had extra documents asked, but that was in the first week after my visa application.

They do say, give a month or more. Right now with the influx with people applying for DTV, it is expected to be longer. You still have a few weeks, so cross fingers

then it's very likely they'll purposely approve it until the 14th. Until then, it would display "Pending Approval".

I hope that's the case. If they require more documents, then there is no way it will be approved on time.
