Has anybody contacted the Cambodia immigration in regards to DTV? Been pending approval now for 2 weeks and no movement. My company require me to have this in place by Monday or I’ll have to fly back to uk. Any advise would be great.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is waiting for DTV visa approval from the Thai Embassy in Cambodia and is concerned about the lack of movement after two weeks, as their company requires approval by Monday. Comments suggest the user should contact the embassy rather than immigration, as well as note that processing times may reset with additional documentation.

Why does your company require you to have it in place?

It's common for the processing time to be reset when you supply additional documents. I don't know about the thai embassy in Cambodia

It's not immigration you need to contact but the embassy you applied at

What day did you apply?

applied on 22nd October asked for additional docs - supplied them and been pending approval since 24th October. Today asked again for another document and supplied that too, and now again in pending approval. Tried to call and email today but couldn’t get through.

Most embassies finish early on a Friday too - well from those I know!

- Unfortunately, I have heard others say that if they ask for additional documents, it can reset the clock. (It has been 11 days, plus holiday, since you last supplied document). Therefore, if they asked for a document today, it might be another 11 days before you receive a decision.

thank you for letting me know, as this was my worry :-( I might have to source elsewhere if not heard on Monday.

- also making things even worst, the second half of next week is a Cambodian national holiday (water festival), so that could potentially delay more. Why is your employer forcing you to complete this process by Monday? Can’t you work from here while you wait for DTV for Thailand?

It is the Thai Embassy in Cambodia not Cambodia Immigration. They will now be off all weekend. Monday morning is your next chance to contact them
