ORIGINAL POSTER
OA Visa - 1st time arriving after issuance. - I received my OA visa in South Korea in December 23. Next week, I will arrive for the first time with visa in hand. QUESTION: I assume that the only paperwork I must present is my E-Visa paper and my proof of Thai insurance. Is this correct? (Thanks in Advance)

TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon arriving in Thailand for the first time with an OA visa, you need to present your E-Visa paper and proof of Thai insurance. Ensure you have both documents physically printed, as you will be stamped in for a duration of either 365 days from your arrival date or until your insurance validity expires, whichever comes first.

Correct. Make sure both on paper in hand.

You will be stamped in until the earlier date of 365 days (arrival date as day 1) or insurance validity.

, there wouldn’t be a problem if applicant has insurance policies for “additional” for longer period

If he received his OA visa in December 2023 that means he already had his health insurance so he will be stamped in until December 2024.

, nobody knows the validity of his insurance policy and that’s why I said like that.

For example, one of my friends got an insurance valid from the future date for non-OA. Got Non-OA then entered for 365 days with current and future insurance policies.
