We just arrived at Phuket.  2nd entry on an OA visa issued in October 2019 for my partner. Stamped in for 1 year. No mention of insurance. It took a while as the officer asked a senior official for assistance,  and then they took photos of the visa page and my friend.  They don't do the photo thing with other visa types!

insurance depends on when you applied for visa as new rules came in to effect October 2019 so if your before then you dont need insurance only new applicants or re applying for an O A Visa
