Hi, quick question as Iโ€™ve found a couple of different answers online.

When renewing my marriage visa, the 400k has to be in my bank 2 or 3 months before renewal?

Thanks in advance ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

TLDR : Answer Summary
When renewing your marriage visa in Thailand, the 400,000 baht must be in a Thai bank account in your name for at least 2 months prior to applying for the extension. Additionally, some immigration offices may require you to keep the money in the account for the 30-day consideration period before you apply.

when applying for a yearly extension of stay based on marriage to a thai using banked money the 400K baht needs to be in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months prior to you applying for the extension.

AND

keep in mind some immigration offices will tell you to keep the money in the account for the 30 day under consideration period too until you come back to get your year extension inked in. SO listen for what they tell you to do when you come back.
