Hi guys, we will request a 60 day tourist visa on Monday for Thailand. But we will be there at the 24.10.18. What does 60 days vaild means? Do i can enter in these 60 days and get the 60days stay after we arrive in Thailand?

If not, we have also 30 days of a valid visa when we arrive and can stay for 60?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A 60-day tourist visa for Thailand is a single-entry visa that allows you to enter Thailand within 90 days of issue. Once you enter, you will be stamped for a stay of 60 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days. If you arrive without a visa, you will receive a 30-day visa-exempt entry, which can also be extended by 30 days.

Okay ALL single entry tourist visas are good for 90 days from the date they're issued. That means you have 90 days to ENTER thailand and when you do you'll get stamped in for 60 days.

You have to enter within 60 days of issue.

You’ll be stamped in for 60 days that can be extended for another 30 days.

If you arrive without a visa you’ll get a 30 day visa exempt on entry that can be extended by another 30 days.
