Sorry to sound confused, silly, and repetitive. I just got back into Bangkok last night and want to sort out my TM30 since recent posts have stressed it. I'm staying with at my wife's condo. If she files online is that it, or do I still need to go into immigration and present documents? If I do need to go in is the following check list enough?
-the blue book (signed by the thai)
-the thai i/d of the person in the blue book (signed by the thai)
-the data page of your passport
-the thai visa in your passport (if you have one)
-your most recent entry stamp
-your extension (if you have one)
-the TM.6 departure card
*** I noticed some people mentioned a contract/lease. I don't have one, so should something else be filed in its place?
I appreciate all the previous posts and links, but they they spun me around a bit. Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the TM30 reporting process after returning to Bangkok. They want to know if filing online by their Thai wife is sufficient or if they need to visit the immigration office in person. Additionally, they inquire if their checklist of documents is adequate for in-person submission and what to do in the absence of a contract or lease.
