Hello,

Question about the TM47, notification of stay over 90 days. I already di my first one in real at the immigration office (Bangkok). Now for my second one I was told that I could do it online here : [members only]

But When I enter all my informations at the step 1, I get a pop-up saying : "contact your immigration branch for further information". Is that means I enter something wrong or the website doesn't work (I tried on Chrome and Firefox)? I hope there is a way to do it online, it's really annoying to lose like 4h by going at the office for doing this thing.

Also : my due date is 3rd December. i didn't understood about the 15 days and 7 days : it's 15 days before and then 7 days after the due date, right? I tried already to do it online last week already, didn't worked (same message every times).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a user's difficulties with the online TM47 notification process for stays exceeding 90 days in Thailand. They've successfully completed their first report in person but encounter an error message when attempting the second report online, suggesting they contact immigration. The user seeks guidance on whether the problem is related to their input or the site's functionality. Additionally, there is confusion about the timing of the report, specifically the 15 days before and 7 days after the due date.

Is that what I need to print or I need to wait for another email? 🤔

that’s the application request, you need to wait for another form (the bottom part) to be completed

If you're in Bangkok do it by mail!! As close as your local post office. Cost 72 baht including return postage!

I was too late for doing it this time. But yes I will definitely do it for the next one.

Benny Ben. I now do it every time. It's so simple and no stress, and best of all, no visit to the immigration office

For some people, the system just doesn't work 🙁

You can try using a different application:

Immigration web-portal [best option];

If the 90 day online report system does not work, AND you’re between the due date and 15 days prior to the due date, AND you already filed one 90 day report in person, there are some troubleshooting techniques you can use to try and get the system to work for you.

1. Make sure you’re filling in the information, and only the information, requested.

2. Make sure you are keying in the date and month correctly

3. Turn off any pop-up blockers

4. Turn off any auto-translate

5. Turn off any VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) that you may be using - including any data saving applications

6. If you’re using one of the applications, use the web-based system

7. If you’re using the web based system, try using a different browser and clear the cache.

8. Make sure your web browser isn’t automatically filling in the forms.

9. Make sure you aren’t confusing “O”(Oh) with “0” (zero)

10. If you’re keying your date manually, try using the drop-down date selection box

If the system still doesn’t work, then you may need to file it in person.

Thanks for your quick answer. I tried the 10 techniques. Tried 3 different browsers. Tried the android app but can't register (I not get the email for confirm my account). So, I suppose I don't have a choice to lose my time at the immigration office. I wish one day they hire just one decent programmer/developer who actually can make a thing as basic as an online form that work... One last question : there is no 7 days delay AFTER the due date? What this 7 days are about then?

you don't have to go yourself. Someone else can go to immigration and file it for you.

I think they forgot about little Bobby Tables 😛

>One last question : there is no 7 days delay AFTER the due date?

There are three was to submit a 90 day report for people who live in Bangkok:

- By mail

- Online

- In person

If you submit it by mail, you must do it NO LATER THEN 15 days before the due date.

If you do it online, you must do it between 15 day before the due date up to the due date.

If you do it in person, you must do it between 15 days before the due date to 7 days after the due date.

TBH, these kind of things happen all over the globe... and dont even start about private sensitive information, this is practically thrown on the street in most countries...
