Could I get information on family visit extension. I have Non O Imm for support Thai person, my son. My 90 days runs out October 15th and I may not return to work before that. I came in through Phuket Sandbox but will be in BKK and Nakon Sawan when the Covid extension period expires. I assume I need to apply for Covid extension or Family extension where I came in, perhaps I’m wrong.
What documents do I need to provide for family extension and does my son need to be with me? I haven’t been able to see him due to local village superstition. Is it granted on initial visit or is there a consideration time.
If I can apply for Covid extension outside of the immigration area I entered what documents do I need for that? Is it granted on initial visit or is there a consideration time?
I appreciate your time and responses.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking information on how to extend their Non O Immigration visa in Thailand due to family reasons. They are specifically interested in a family visit extension based on their son, who they have not been able to see. The inquiry includes questions about necessary documents, whether their son must accompany them during the application, and if it's possible to apply for an extension from a different immigration area than where they entered the country. Comments suggest that the son must be present for a family extension and recommend visiting the local immigration office before the current visa expires to apply for a Covid extension.
