TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of obtaining an in-country extension of their visa to continue visiting their child in Thailand, currently on a 60-day extension after previously holding a 90-day NON-O visa. A comment suggested that if borders do not reopen before their visa expires, they would be covered under an amnesty program until the end of July. Additionally, there was mention of a year-long extension contingent upon proof of funds in a Thai bank account.

If the borders don't open before your stamp runs out you would be covered by this new amnesty program that runs until the 31st of July. You don't need to anything.

The only other extension option you have is a year long extension by meeting the proof of funds (400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply) and turning in the required documents.
