Hi. In a couple of months I'll be coming up on one year in Thailand on my ten year LTR visa. I live in Pattaya. I know I have to report to immigration once a year, but have some questions about the process.
Is it possible to do this online or must it be done in person?
Is there a maximum number of days prior to the one year date that you are allowed to do the reporting? ( i.e. not earlier than one mouth out, two weeks out, etc)
And lastly, is there an immigration website in English that lists all the documents you need tobring with you?
Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The annual reporting process for LTR visa holders in Thailand must be done in person at a local immigration office, as there is currently no online option available. There is no specific information on the number of days prior to the one-year date when reporting is allowed; however, past experiences of other LTR holders suggest that contacting the Board of Investment (BOI) or local immigration staff is advisable for accurate details. It's also noted that exiting and re-entering Thailand can reset the one-year reporting requirement.
LONG TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Why don't you just go to Malaysia or some other country for a few days?
That will reset the one year report clock.

Please report back on what you learned from contacting the BOI... THANKS ๐

you could try contacting these people, (if the numbers still work) when they rolled out the LTR program these were the go-to people

E mail BOI and they will give you a prompt detailed reply. On my third decade here and and with the LTR no need to ask questions on Face Book as BOI is very responsive. Love my LTR.

Sadly, (for you and every other LTR visa holder) I see a visit to the local immigration office in your near future OR a call to the LTR people at Cham Churi Square.. Just so we're totally clear this has been a huge failure compared to what they thought it'd be when they rolled it out. They sold just over 6k of these visas most in the wealthy pensioner category (people who just switched off O or OA visa/extensions) and the next category was trailing spouses OF an LTR visa holder ๐ฎ
Most offices have never seen an LTR visa holder or if they did, they've seen very few of them. Early on even the passport control officers at the airport didn't know what and how to deal with them ๐
Nope doesn't appear to be an online thing. Looks like it's an in person visit to the immigration office in the area where you live

Contact the LTR support staff at Cham Churi Square where their main office is and see what they say

To be completely honest all the people I know on the LTR have never had to do the one year reporting because it resets when you exit/re-enter the country, meaning that if you travel regularly you may NEVER have to do it
Sorry for the vague answer but believe it or not sometimes (more times than not) the real answer IS contact the immigration office OR in case of the LTR visa, the BOI division who issues them.
