Hi

I have a retirement visa and am in Pattaya now.

I have the following queries

1- I understand that for my first 90 day report that this has to be in person. How long before the 90 days is it allowed to report.

2- what is the procedure.

Thank you for your assistance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The initial 90-day report for a retirement visa can now be done online without restrictions, but in-person reporting is also an option if necessary. The allowed reporting window is 15 days before the due date and up to 7 days after the due date at the local immigration office. For in-person reporting, you need to bring your passport, any due date slip, and the TM30 receipt. Alternatively, reports can be made by mail as well, provided they are stamped at least 15 days before the due date. If you're on the initial 90-day visa, you may not need to report until you secure your 12-month extension.

If you are on the initial 90 day visa then you probably don't need to report at all. When you get the 12 month extension they will put a paper in your passport saying when you should do your 90 day report

With the current system, there is no restriction on the first 90 days report online. No harm in trying the first 90 days report online. If rejected, you can go in person.

*******************************************

When you do 90 days report in person at the immigration office, bring your passport, due date slip if issued with your extension, and TM30 receipt in case to your local immigration office. Tell an officer that you need to report 90 days. You will fill TM47 form, then follow the officer's direction.

90days report windows are:

- At the local immigration office: 15 days before until 7 days after the due date

- Online: 15 days before until the due date

- By legacy mail (EMS from Thailand Post): post stamped at least 15 days before the due date

@Ellie ******
wouldn't that be postal stamped at Most 15 days before?

@Wannikea ********
, if you sent by mail with the stamp dated less then 15 days before the due date, immigration wouldn't accept the report. at least in Bangkok.
