Hello Tod and Ellie

I am due my first 90 day reporting. Is it still required to do that first one in person at an immigration office or have regulations changed on that? I can’t seem to change the immigration website from Thai to English for some reason, to be able to read the guidelines and I’m not sure I can trust any other website info.

TIA 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The first 90-day reporting in Thailand is generally required to be done in person but recent regulations allow for online reporting under certain conditions. If you haven't had a passport change, you can attempt to report online up to 15 days before your due date and 7 days after without incurring a fine for late reporting. It’s important to ensure the correct details are submitted, particularly your address related to TM30 forms. For those struggling with accessing the immigration website in English, assistance is available.

The current restriction to use 90 days report online is only when you get a new passport.

You can try online first. Make sure you put the correct address with your TM30. You have 15 days until the due date to try online, and still have 7 days after the due date to report in person at the local immigration office without being fined for failing to report.

There are many people who successfully did their very first 90 days report online, while there are people whose first report had been rejected.
