TLDR : Answer Summary
A 2-month Tourist Visa (SETV) for Thailand does not include re-entry privileges. Travelers should be aware that if they leave Thailand during their permitted stay, they can either apply for a re-entry permit at an immigration office or may be eligible for a Visa Exempt entry upon returning, depending on their nationality. Re-entry permits cost 1,000 THB and are necessary to keep the initial visa period valid while outside the country.

with a SETV you will get 60 days upon first entry, no re-entry included. If you leave Thailand before the end of the 60-day permitted period, you can re-enter without any extra visa fees on a 30-day Visa Exempt if you are national of a country elegible for Visa Exempt. In case you are not, your option is to extend the 60 days with 30 more days on any immigration inside Thailand for 1900 THB. And the option described above is, you can buy a re-entry permit for 1000 THB at any immigration office, but it will only keep the rest days of your initial "permitted to stay 60-days" period valid

Unless you have a multiple-entry visa, then it is only good for one entry unless you buy a re-entry permit before leaving. Re-entry permits are 1000 baht for a single re-entry. It does not extend your visa, just keeps it "alive" while you are out of the kingdom.

There is No reentry included with a Tourist Visa. If you leave before its permission to stay ends you can buy a reentry permit.

a Single Entry Tourist Visa is valid for 90 days, in these 90 days you have to use the visa to enter Thailand. On entry you will get 60 days of stay and your visa will be stamped used and become invalid.
