I am going to apply for Thai wife Visa next week in Sakon Nakon. I have been on extension based on retirement for two years and we registered our marriage in Ban Muang last year and I got pink ID card and yellow house book. I also got my drivers licenses. I have the list of documents I need but it does not specify what form I need from Ban Muang is it

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a Thai wife visa in Sakon Nakhon after previously extending their stay based on retirement and registering their marriage in Ban Muang. They have the necessary documents but are uncertain about the required forms from Ban Muang for their visa application. Commenters clarify that they are essentially changing the reason for their extension and need specific forms (Kor Ror 2 and Kor Ror 3) from the Amphur. They discuss details about these forms, including clarification on their validity period and necessity.

Do the Kor Ror 2 and 3 have to be gotten the day before you go to immigration or can it be a few days before.

you can't get a new Kor Ror 3 <- the rose bordered one, that's a one off you get when you register the marriage the first time

You can only get a Kor Ror 2 (or if you were married abroad and registered that marriage here a Kor Ror 22) printed at the Amphurs

Most offices allow you to present one that is no older than 30 days BUT there's a few that require you get one really really close to the day you apply

You need to check with your immigration office and see what their policy is

Just so you know, you aren't applying for ANY visa at all.

You're currently on a yearly extension based on retirement and all you'll be doing is "changing the reason" for your next extension to one based on marriage rather than retirement. People change reasons for extensions all the time

As far as what you'll need from the Amphur where you registered the marriage, you need the Kor Ror 2 (an all thai form) and the Kor Ror 3 (the rose bordered marriage certificate)

Yellow house book/pink id don't really matter at all, they're not required.

This is a general list of requirements to get an extension based on marriage to a thai national, but you say you got the list from your office so follow that one

FYI... those photos are illegible due to being so blurry. Intentional maybe, but can't be identified ๐Ÿ˜‰

certainly they're clear enough to see that one is an ALL in thai form type (that's the one that many offices say you need to get updated every year) and the other one is the Rose border (suitable for framing one)

maybe it's only on my phone that they're blurry. Maybe it doesn't matter to you for this purpose. The for the form though, I can't tell if it's Thai, Burmese, Sri Lankan or some other language that's very different characters to English.

they were examples of the differences only, and anyone married to a thai can go to any amphur and get that Kor Ror 2 updated.. in thai it's เธ„เธฃ.เน’ ๐Ÿ™‚
