I am going to apply for Thai wife Visa next week in Sakon Nakon. I have been on extension based on retirement for two years and we registered our marriage in Ban Muang last year and I got pink ID card and yellow house book. I also got my drivers licenses. I have the list of documents I need but it does not specify what form I need from Ban Muang is it
Just to share the feedback, turned up at Sakon Nakhon immigration with just a passport. No people in the building other than staff, few taps on the computer and done. In and out in less than 10mins
Next week I'm going from Sakon Nakhon to Bangkok to collect my new UK passport. How and where do I get my retirement visa and multiple re-entry visa transferred? Will they do it at my local office? On previous occasions I got a new passport in UK and immigration at Suvarnabhumi did it on entry. So easy. Also, do I need an entry stamp in my new passport? Without one will it cause problems on exit?
well I went and got my 30 day extension at Sakon Nakhon and it was great...went in filled out form, had copy of main passport page but forgot copy of visa stamp..so they copied it for me free of charge. also forgot my departure card, but he got one for me. he had to change the bar code number ? . (thank God he was a patient man) but apart from that in and out in 20 min thats including 10min wait when first got there.. 😊..
