Hi,

I recently arrived in Thailand and am staying with my wife's family. I want to apply for a marriage visa in Bangkok, based on my marriage to a Thai citizen. This will be my initial application, not an extension. I've done some preparations based on previous experiences, but I want to ensure I have all the necessary documents to avoid multiple trips to the immigration office.

Could you provide an overview of the required documents for a marriage visa?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a marriage visa in Thailand, you will need to gather several important documents. Although previous experiences may have helped you prepare, it is advisable to check the latest requirements from the local immigration office, as regulations can change. Generally, make sure to have proof of address in Bangkok included in your application.

Check this first. You still need to check with CW for their latest requirements as there is no assurance this is the latest.

Make sure you have proof of address in Bangkok.
