I have a Ovisa multi which expires in August from London.
I have just read a post that says with an O from Australia Thai insurance is required. Is that the case from the UK when I renew? I travel with insurance from the UK.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the health insurance requirements for renewing a Non-O visa from the UK, particularly in light of differing rules observed in other countries, like Australia. Comments suggest that requirements can vary by embassy, with some sources indicating that the Thai Embassy in London may not require health insurance for the Non-O visa, especially when using the Evisa online application.

Retirement but for various reasons I go to Thailand and come back so the O multi entry suits me. One reason is insurance I don't like to be uninsured so my cover is fine up to 90 days. I'm never there more.
so you are getting a One year Non O MULTIPLE ENTRY Visa as retiree?
Do the Thai Embassy or Consulate in Both the UK and Australia offer the one year multiple entry Non O Visa as retired? UK DOES ..
Have you looked at the new LTR Visa ... Getting you 5+5= 10 years Visa?

Different Embassies have different requirements, I think London only requires insurance for an OA, check their website

ASK the Thai Embassy which you will be issuing the Non O Visa.
Look at the Thai Embassy websites.
It's been reported that the UK Thai Embassy, when using the Evisa online application system, will accept a note uploaded regarding the insurance..
"Health insurance NO longer REQUIRED "
I do believe that the Thai Embassy or Consulate in Australia do still require the 90 days of health insurance to coincide with the Non O Visa entry stamp on arrival.
