What are the required documents for a Non-O 90-day Visa in Thailand?

Regarding required documents for non o 90 day Visa. I went to the Bangkok government complex to extend my 30 day exempt entry by another 30 days and succeeded . Thank you Tod and others for suggesting I stop by c - 1 to ask for a list of required documents for non- immigrant o Visa. See image below. The list includes application form passport page copies, photo, application fee, and documentation of either 800,000 b in bank or guarantee letter for proving monthly pension or income. What's confusing me is there is nothing there about proving residence with rental contract owners blue book or owners ID. I asked two ladies is there anything else like residence documents needed. She said if I want to know about residence then I should go to section A and get in the queue. She mentioned something about 24 hour which sounded like owner reporting of my moving into condo but I thought this was not required in Bangkok. The reason I am trying to pin down if there are any residence requirements is because though I have the rental contract and owners ID, my condo owner cannot find his Blue Book and we'll have to go to City Hall to get a new one and would prefer not to. It would be a lot easier if all that was required was just the items on the list, but based on other posts Phantom requirements creep up.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the documentation required for a Non-O 90-day Visa in Thailand, specifically after extending a 30-day visa. The user successfully gathered essential documents such as application forms and proof of financial stability (bank statement or income guarantee). However, they are unclear about the necessity of additional residence documents since the condo owner's Blue Book is unavailable. The user also mentions confusion regarding residence requirements, as a lady at the immigration office directed them to inquire about residence proof at a different section related to 90-day reporting.

I forgot to mention that the Immigration Dept section A that the lady mentioned was labeled 90 day reporting so maybe when I was asking about any required residence documents for the non o visa, she might have thought I was asking about the 90 day reporting that comes once you extend the non o visa for a year ..

the so-called retirement Visa.

They could ask for your lease but that's about all I've seen them ask for.

I'd say GO apply, you're out nothing by trying it and having them ask for more documentation. That section C-1 is never that busy so you can show up pretty much any time and get seen in a short amount of time.

They won't even take your paperwork or your money if you don't have the required documentation.

AFAIK: you won't need the land lords thai i/d or their house book listing when you apply for the 90 day Non-O, and I know with 100% certainty you won't need any of that when you apply for the year extension OR do your first 90 day report (which doesn't start until AFTER you get your first yearly extension)

Hi
@Tod ********
visas are so complicated that I have a hard time articulating the exact meaning of my question. I was approved for a 30-day extension on my exempt stamp. But I did not submit an application for a 90-day non-immigrant O visa. The only reason I went to the C1 section was to pick up the list of required documents for when I did apply for that Visa in the next few weeks. Do you think they only want the documents on the list?... Or will they ask for proof of residency with copies of rental contract, owner's ID, and Blue Book. ? Or maybe that is residency information that is only required later on with the one-year extension to the 90-day non o... or perhaps residency documents are only required during 90 day reporting. If it's something I need on the front end with the initial application for the 90-day Visa non o I need to know in the next week but I cannot seem to find the answer. Are there other forms I could try to post a question in?

They were asking IF you wanted to file that TM.30 (alien in residence form) which is also done in Section A (the 90 day reporting room).

If they didn't ask for any other documents you're fine. If they took your 2000baht and gave you a stamp on your receipt with the date to come back you're going to be approved. I've never seen them take the application, paperwork, money etc and have someone denied.
