Hello

I am just preparing for my trip in Oct, however I have never used the E Visa website and the embassy does not answer email.

So with Chicago Consulate, if any one has experience with a METV, just a few questions.

1 I have a Thai bank account with enough money, but do I need to upload 6 months of bank statements?

2. In Oct I hope be able to stay at my Condo, will a bank statement with my name and address be enough to prove accommodations?

3 My air tickets are for 89 days as I did not know if I can leave and return without quarantine? Any issues with that?

Thanks for the help, before I could just walk to the consulate, but am not sure when that will return.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarity on applying for a METV from the Chicago Consulate, focusing on bank statement requirements, proof of accommodation using a personal bank statement, and potential issues concerning their 89-day air ticket regarding quarantine on entry to Thailand. A comment indicates that currently, the METV is not being issued, and only SETV or visa-exempt entries are available, confirming that one bank statement should suffice.

Thai embassies aren't issuing the METV currently, only a SETV or a visa exempt entry.

1 bank statement is fine.
