What do I need to do for my 90-day report and re-entry requirements into Thailand?

Hello and good day to everyone!

I have two quick questions:

The first one is, I currently have a DTV workation, and in 3 weeks it will be 90 days since I arrived in the country. I've heard that it needs to be declared. I am currently in Chiang Mai; is this done at the same place as the visa extension? Also, do I need to prepare anything in advance, or should I just show up with my passport, and that's enough?

The second question: Once I leave the country and decide to come back, do I still need to prove I have 500k baht in my bank account, or is there no more check?

Thank you so much in advance for your answers! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process for submitting a 90 Day Report in Chiang Mai, including necessary documentation and whether it can be done at the same location as visa extensions. They also ask if they need to prove they have 500,000 baht in their bank account upon returning to Thailand after leaving. Responses indicate that the 90 Day Report can typically be handled at the airport immigration office with minimal requirements, and that while there are usually no checks on bank balances upon re-entry, it is prudent to be prepared with all relevant documentation.

90 Day Report in Chiang Mai i do to the airport branch. There is a drive-through window with a walk-through window right next to it. Dont it twice there now and never more than a few minutes. I completed the TM47 form available there, handed over the passport and TM30. I do not think TM30 is required as they scan passport, print out 90 day report receipt and that is it. Simple, easy and quick

You need besides your passport, your visa, your visa stamp and the most recent TM30.

Best to have copies of all because some immigration offices don't want to make those copies themselves.

When you leave the country and come back, most times no checks except from passport and visa, but all visa requirements are still valid so when IO asks you have to prove.
