Hi, I'm on an ED Visa and will be leaving the country for a quick visit home. Is there any cost associated with the re-entry permit and must I get it at the Immigration office that issued my ED Visa or can I get it at my airport of departure? Do I need a letter from my school for presentation when applying for my re-entry permit?

a single re-entry permit is 1000baht and you can buy it at the immigration office you got your extension at BEFORE you fly

you can buy it at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang
