I am needing a re-entry permit from my non immigrant “b” visa. I know there’s a couple ways. One being to go to the immigration office and obtain one before you leave and two being to obtain one at the airport. I have also looked up the cost and got told buy a couple different people and have gotten different prices. Also I know the prices change if you don’t have a picture and/or other required documents. So what is the best way to obtain one and the prices?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a re-entry permit for a non-immigrant 'B' visa in Thailand, there are two primary methods: obtaining it at your local Thai Immigration office or at the airport. The cost for a single re-entry permit is typically 1,000 THB at the immigration office. If you choose to get it at Suvarnabhumi Airport, there is an additional 200 THB service fee for photo and document handling. It is advisable to obtain your permit in advance at the immigration office to avoid extra fees and ensure you have all necessary documents, including a photo.
