Happy Songkran everyone! I want to get a re-entry permit on a non-ED visa to apply for a third-country visa inside Thailand.
Shall I go to the IMM office where the non-ED visa was issued? Or I may get it from IMM anywhere?
And what shall I do when I apply for the re-entry permit in the IMM office? Is it easy to get it by myself without any condition?
Can I also do it for my wife without the need of being presented by herself?
Thanks in advance!
TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a re-entry permit on a non-ED visa in Thailand, you usually need to visit the immigration office where your visa was originally issued. Some offices may issue re-entry permits even if that's not the case, but rules can vary. Generally, you must apply in person, meaning your wife will need to be present unless you get permits at the airport before departure. Re-entry permits can also be obtained at Suvarnabhumi Airport's re-entry counter.
