Hello everyone.
Question about re-entry permit:
When I use it to come back to Thailand, at airport inmigration will they ask again for a ticket for leaving Thailand before my visa expires?
I make this question because when I first entered I had that ticket to leave the country, but because I got an student visa later, the ticket expired.
I would like to be sure that I need to buy a new one that I will not use again.
Thank you in advance.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When re-entering Thailand with a student visa (ED visa) and a re-entry permit, it is generally not required to show proof of onward travel. However, it's advisable to have documentation from your school regarding your temporary absence, as immigration may be critical about the circumstances of your travel. Confirm with your airline as well, and keep contact information for your school handy in case of any inquiries during re-entry.
