Has anyone applied for an OA visa and got denied? What if we apply and we don’t receive the e visa before we fly. What do we do if we get to Thailand and it’s denied? Can we still reapply while in Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your OA visa application is denied and you haven't received the e-visa before your flight, you will enter Thailand with a visa exemption stamp valid for 60 days. Once in Thailand, you cannot apply for a Non-OA visa as applications must be made from your home country. If the OA visa is subsequently issued while you are in Thailand, you will need to exit the country and re-enter to activate the visa.

If it's not issued before you travel to Thailand, you'd be stamped in 60 days visa exempt. If it's then issued you would have to leave and return to use it.

You cannot apply for a non-OA visa from anywhere except your passport country.

And getting a non-O visa isn't possible without a Thai bank account, which you cannot get without a long term visa.
