Can anyone answer this question for me?
I fly on Friday and my Non O based on marriage has not been issued yet. If it doesn't arrive I then will fly and enter under the visa exemption rule.
Can I apply for my Non O in Thailand?
My plan was/is to deposit the money required for a 1 year extension in to a Thai bank account that has been transferred from the UK.
There seem to be some very knowledgeable people on here that may be able to answer this.
UK resident applying via E-visa through London.
Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring if they can apply for a Non-O visa based on marriage after entering Thailand under the visa exemption rule, due to their current Non-O visa not being issued before their flight. A knowledgeable commenter confirms that it's possible to apply for the Non-O visa in Thailand, as long as the applicant has the required 400,000 THB deposited in a Thai bank account, which does not need to be seasoned for the initial application. However, funds must be held for at least two months when applying for the extension.
