Hi everyone. I applied for a non o 90 visa. Later I want change into retirement visa. Just one question: what if I don't have the visa the time I booked my flight. Can I come in? On what base? I have a lease contract 21st of February. The Thai Embassy says it can take 8 weeks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about entering Thailand if their Non-O visa (retirement visa) application is not processed in time by their flight date. According to the community responses, if the visa is not obtained before traveling, the user can enter Thailand as a tourist if they qualify for visa-exempt entry. However, once the Non-O visa is approved, they will need to exit Thailand and re-enter to activate the new visa.

If you do not get your visa before you leave, then you will enter Thailand as a tourist if you qualify for visa exempt entry. Then if your visa comes after you enter, you will need to leave Thailand and return to use the visa.
