What documents do I need to prepare for an extension of my Non-O spouse visa in Thailand?

Hey, apologies if this has already been answered. Have trawled through immigration websites and past posts and just want to check I am preparing all the right documents:

I am in Bangkok on a Non-O spouse visa (husband is here on a work permit). The 90 days deadline is coming up in 1 month and from what I understand I will need to apply for an extension at Chaengwattana.

The list of documents I think I may require is as follows (assume I make copies of each):

- Proof of filing T.M.30 (printed screenshot from our landlord?)

- Completed T.M.7 Form w/ passport photo

- Passport (copy of all relevant pages - T.M. 6, stamped page, info page)

- Fee (1900 baht?)

- Authenticated Marriage Certificate

- Husbands Passport and work permit

- Proof of income? (husband's Thai bank account statements from when he arrived)

- Husband

Am I missing anything? I'm ok with preparing more than required obviously, better to be safe than sorry. Also, anyone know how soon can I apply for an extension?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking confirmation on the necessary documents for extending their Non-O spouse visa, including filing the T.M.30 and preparing various forms of identification and financial proof. They are also asking about the timeline for applying for the extension.

Speak to your husband's employer, they should be able to tell you what you need to do.

Edit - are you currently on an extension of stay or only recently arrived to Thailand? Looking back at your post I'm actually confused as to what you're trying to do.

Ah sorry, arrived in Thailand for first time 60ish days ago, so have not yet extended my stay. Still on first, initial 90 day Non-O visa.

Husband has 1 year work permit, he arrived maybe 5 months ago.

Unfortunately my husband's employer only assists with his visa and charges for any advice they offer about mine, and it's using business rates not private individual rates... so very expensive. Not something they seem open to budging on either haha.

first time I've come across an employer acting like that, my employer did all the leg work for my wife and she just had to turn up to immigration to have her photo taken.

If you haven't already then best place to ask is in the Thai Visa Advice group, although the mods are also in here so I'm sure they'll help if they haven't done so already :)

If you do ask on there then, just to be clear on what you want, ask for how to go about getting your extension of stay as a trailing spouse and that you're currently still on the 3 month visa itself.

, yeah it's definitely been much less straightforward than we anticipated. Either way, thanks for the recommendation! I'm sure we'll figure it out eventually
