I'm up to renew my 1 year non o Thai wife visa. Are the requirements the same as the first time? Is it a 2 step stamp process? Meaning I go to drop off documents etc and then come back for stamp? - for Chang Watthana Bangkok location

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for renewing a 1-year Non-O Thai wife visa involves similar requirements as the initial application, although it's essential to check the latest requirements from your immigration office, as they can change annually. The renewal typically follows a 2-step process: you first submit the required documents and then return for the visa stamp. Additional notes include needing recent photographs and possibly obtaining a new marriage certificate from your local Amphur.

You will also have to go to a local Amphur and get a new marriage certificate first, (not the colourful part).

he means a Kor Ror 2, costs 20 baht, not a new marriage certificate with the rose border around it. Takes 5 minutes.

The requirements are whatever the sheet provided by your immigration office says they are. They sometimes change from year to year. You should go and get the sheet of requirements every year.

Marriage extensions have an "under consideration" period after you submit to allow the immigration officers time to do a home visit if they want to do so.
